Irmo Town Park

The Irmo Town Park is a lovely spot to relax and hear a concert. With a path, concert gazebo, benches and gliders it is a great place to come with a picnic or just let the kids run around. With beautiful vintage-looking lamp posts, terraces, and a creek flowing into a pond with a fountain, the park is small but peaceful.
For a real treat, visit the park an a warm evening to hear the chorus of frogs that live around the pond. The park is open and well-lit. The park is slopes down toward the pond and has carpet-like grassy areas. Kids will find many areas perfect for rolling. Adults may enjoy a peaceful swing in the deck area at the top of the park or relaxing on the seating area in front of the gazebo.
Irmo Park hosts a series of summer concerts during the summer months.
Hours 7:00AM-10:00PM . A portapotty is located in the park area and there is a drinking water fountain.
Posted rules: No skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, bikes, pets, smoking, or alcholic beverages.

Irmo Town Park is located next to the Irmo Town Hall. To get there, from Lake Murray Blvd, take a left onto Carlisle St, right before the Irmo Welcome Center. There is a sign that identifies the park on that corner. The park is on the left at the end of the street.
