Sims Park has a water spray, a neighborhood center, play area, and picnic shelter. There is also a basketball court. The playground is partially shaded and well maintained. There are bathrooms in the neighborhood center and there are water fountains. The neighborhood center offers access to computers with Internet access. The center is open from 2:00PM-6:00PM weekdays.

This park has a police substation located in it.

To get there, from Rosewood Dr. head north on Bonham Rd. The park is bordered by Bonham Rd, Edward Ct, and Duncan St.
