Valencia Park

Valencia Park is a ballfield with a playground. There are restrooms but they are not always open. There is a drinking water fountain.

The play equipment is nice and well maintained but unshaded so it can get hot. There is plenty of clean sand for digging and playing but watch out for sweet gum balls (prickly balls). There is a long, grassy area between the baseball diamond and a fenced-in drainage area that would be good for tossing a frisbee or playing games.

To get there, from Rosewood Dr, go south on Kilbourne Rd. The park is on the right at Montgomery Ave.

Other parks close by are Bates Park, Tyler Park, and Rosewood Park.
