EdVenture Children's Museum, South Carolina's place for hands-on learning and discovery, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing all children and families with exhibits, programs and resources to ignite curiosity, creativity, and a greater understanding of the world.

Opened in 2003, EdVenture Children’s Museum allows children ages 12 and younger to experience the world. What better place to inspire children to experience the joy of learning than at the South’s largest children’s museum? While there, you can talk to a skeleton, anchor the news, drive a fire truck, build a house, swim in the Great Barrier Reef and explore the insides of EDDIE – the world’s largest child!

EdVenture is home to 350 exhibits that provide a multitude of interactive experiences promising endless opportunities for exploration, creativity and good old-fashioned fun!

Additionally, EdVenture is changing the way children learn with field trip and outreach programs based on South Carolina’s Education Curriculum Standards.

EdVenture accepts VISA, MasterCard, cash and checks. We also accept reciprocal memberships from other ACM museums with an ACM sticker. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we no longer have an ATM in our building.

Accessibility: EdVenture accommodates visitors with special needs and is wheelchair accessible.
