South Carolina Archives and History Center contains more than 330 years of the state's historical records. If your family is from South Carolina, you can trace your geneolgy here.

The history center has an exhibit area that may be interesting to older children. This is not a place that younger children will enjoy.

The History Center holds many educational programs including tours, workshops, seminars, and conferences. The center also has rental facilities including an auditorium, classrooms, kitchen, and gardens.
